The Royal Melbourne Hospital Redevelopment

BLP have long been associated with the Royal Melbourne Hospital, working from the strategic/masterplanning level through to implementing a number of redevelopment stages since 1998.

Various projects completed include the construction of additional Inpatient Unit floors above the Front Entry Building; Helipad; infill buildings and refurbishment of substantial parts of the existing building. Departments include the Intensive Care Unit, 300 inpatient beds, Perioperative Unit, Day Medical, clinics and research labs.

The most recent project is the Allied Health building opened October 2012 – a three storey addition to the North Wing Expansion project offering allied health services for both inpatients and outpatients in the centre of the Hospital
