Wards and Pharmacy
Part of a rolling program of works, the new 30-bed ward provides multiple-day patient accommodation, giving Affinity the potential to expand services. The new ward will be a Cardiac ward, and the existing ward will be converted to a surgical ward.
Storage for medical records will be relocated away from primary hospital functions in a purpose-built climate controlled area.
Open areas remaining on the lower ground floor will be for fitout of consulting rooms, pharmacy, coffee shop and other amenities.
Infrastructure works will need to be provided to support the extension of existing services, specifically in electrical loads and IT infrastructure.
