The Study Methodology and Approach
Stage 1 - Data collection and review of educational program and facilities.

Survey of campus and transfer of information to CAD to form an accurate base for each campus and collection of building data in a database room by room for all campuses providing valuable information on condition, suitability, access etc.
Stage 2 - Define global strategies and develop future growth and space needs.
Two types of workshops were undertaken for this stage: the first was the Physical Planning Workshops with students and staff focusing on the physical qualities of each campus; the second type concentrated on the educational program, market catchment area, client groups, industry and student demand and other service issues.
Stage 3 - Development and strategies for each campus.
Based on the above data development strategies were developed for each campus.
Stage 4 - Report and presentation.
In 1999, Billard Leece was commissioned to update the masterplan to incorporate changes in program.
