Megan Harris

Senior Associate 

With over 30 years’ experience, across a broad range of public and private sector projects, Megan has become an expert in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to connect with users and draw out specific issues relevant to a particular facility ensuring client results.

Megan brings a depth of knowledge and experience from the forefront of healthcare design through her work on the Australasian Health Facility Guidelines (AusHFG) Design Guidelines. Throughout her career she has been involved in planning or peer review of all the health planning units described in these Guidelines.

She has planned some of BLP’s most significant and expansive health campuses, including the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Perth Children’s Hospital, and Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, bringing together the functional imperatives of clinical planning and the creativity of an architect to every project.

Currently based in Hong-Kong, Megan is coordinating the BLP team for the Hong Kong Northern District Hospital.
