Revit Technician - Sydney

Our Sydney studio is looking for a Revit Technician to assist our BIM team.  The primary focus is to account for all the objects and elements within an architectural healthcare project and facilitate its delivery through the creation of appropriate Revit content. That information is then stored in a drofus database using its management software.

Roles include, implementing healthcare planning decisions through technology to ensure that it meets client requirements, creating content that meets industry best practice revit standards, BIM requirements of the studio and the project architects requirements.

The revit Content creator will also assist the drofus lead and architectural healthcare team in delivering project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities and Personal attributes

Mandatory:

  • management of Revit content creation over the lifecycle of the project
  • refer documentation issues to the documentation lead
  • provide information to the dRofus lead
  • regular communication to the BIM manager
  • assisting improvements of documentation where required for BLP BIM deliverables
  • delivery and observance of quality procedures
  • highly self-motivated individual
  • good interpersonal skills
  • a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • permanent residency or citizenship

Desirable:

  • dRofus experience is not required but basic understanding of revit content creation is. Training and guidance will be provided in house.

Senior Revit Documenter / Architectural Technician - Sydney

Our Sydney studio is looking for an experienced professional to hit the ground running leading projects from inception through to delivery.  This role requires you to have strong Construction delivery, coordination skills with proven experience working through design development, tender and construction documentation, and on–site coordination dealing with contractors and sub-contractors.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has managed internal and external architectural and engineering teams, know how to actually build projects and will take charge and get things done.

Skills Experience and Personal Attributes

Mandatory:

  • proven experience in Architectural Design documentation delivering local large scale, complex buildings with excellent Construction knowledge
  • strong portfolio demonstrating Revit Documentation and construction detailing in particular building envelope detailing, construction materials and techniques, understanding of structural systems and building services
  • consultant management / coordination and client liaison
  • well-developed time management skills with the ability to run multiple tasks concurrently and manage small teams
  • on site experience including contractor liaison
  • experience in writing technical specifications, schedule and package production
  • have a thorough working knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and Local Authority requirements
  • highly self-motivated individual who thrives in a challenging work environment
  • good interpersonal skills
  • a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

Design Architect - Sydney

We are looking for a Design Architect with 10+ years of experience and an exceptional body of creative work to join our Sydney Studio in this hands-on role.

Working closely with our project teams across all levels from junior to senior, you will lead the design of projects and help to enhance design standards across the practice.

Australian residency or appropriate work visa is required.
