BIM Coordinator - Melbourne

We are looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead model management in our Melbourne studio.

You will have experience working on Architectural documentation across a range of small to large scale projects, with exceptional proficiency in Revit, and experience in AutoCAD and Navisworks. You will have a working understanding of Aconex, Lumion, Enscape and Rhino.

You will be highly organised and an excellent communicator, with strong problem-solving skills and a friendly, enthusiastic approach to teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work 100% across projects, providing day to day BIM coordination and model management tasks
  • Set up large projects and workflows to team requirements
  • Produce documentation and data standards and maintain full-time project input

Skills & Experience 

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in an Architectural documentation/ BIM coordination role at a design practice, ideally in healthcare or education
  • High Revit proficiency, with experience in AutoCAD and Navisworks

Senior Site Project Architect - Sydney

Architect / Healthcare Designer - Sydney

The position requires a highly qualified, experienced Architect / Healthcare Designer by bringing state of the art healthcare market intelligence to the client and project team. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor of Architecture and a minimum of fifteen years of healthcare planning experience of small, medium and large-scale healthcare projects. Proficiency with Revit is required. Architectural Registration, LEED certification is preferred. Strong presentation, communication, organizational, team building, collaboration and communication skills are a must. Knowledge base of international standards, codes and design/delivery of healthcare projects is preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Revit, dRofus, AHFGs, HFBS, In-design and Photoshop required.

Responsible for:

  • Benchmarking and research of current & future health trends, Bid preparation and resourcing, incorporate health strategies into Master planning, concept design and detail design of clinics, hospitals and large healthcare projects, conduct User Consultations, Stakeholder Management and complex problem solving through to management, coordination and design & production of documentation.
  • Contribute to practice development by submitting knowledge, writing papers, attending conferences, participating in speaking engagements, etc.
  • Significant experience working in a team environment in the planning and design of healthcare facilities is required.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develops concepts based on client vision, brief and desire
  • Conduct architectural studies, develop design concepts and design criteria, prepare reports, calculations, and detailed design
  • Prepares detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models and schemes
  • Supports business development activities (e.g., participate in proposal development, interviews, marketing material development, and development of new services or service line improvements as required).

Revit Technician - Sydney
  • Friendly, collaborative, working culture in modern creative and inspiring workplace

Our Sydney studio is looking for a Revit Technician to assist our BIM team.  The primary focus is to account for all the objects and elements within an architectural healthcare project and facilitate its delivery through the creation of appropriate Revit content. That information is then stored in a dRofus database using its management software.

Roles include, implementing healthcare planning decisions through technology to ensure that it meets client requirements, creating content that meets industry best practice revit standards, BIM requirements of the studio and the project architects requirements.

The revit Content creator will also assist the drofus lead and architectural healthcare team in delivering project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities and Personal attributes

Mandatory:

  • management of Revit content creation over the lifecycle of the project
