Kensington Village Public and Social Housing Development – masterplanned, designed and delivered by BLP – has received an Award of Merit in the category of International Residential Project at the 49th Annual Gold Nugget Awards.
Using a number of urban design strategies, the new development is successfully integrated into the existing street patterns and urban fabric. New high quality townhouses and apartments, where public and social housing is indistinguishable from private housing, are combined with newly landscaped open spaces and recreation areas, in an award-winning development that benefits residents and the local community.
