BLP Director Mark Mitchell recently participated in a roundtable discussion ahead of 2014’s Australian Healthcare Week. The discussion incorporated a range of issues affecting healthcare facilities around design, development and technology.
On the benefits of incorporating sustainability considerations beyond the planning stage into design and development phases, Mark said:
It’s the science of sustainability alongside your evidence based design that come together through the experience, it makes people feel good and when people feel good, there’s a correlation with positive health outcomes.
