National NAIDOC Week is an opportunity to reflect on the strength, vision, and legacy of First Australians and their cultures and histories. Fittingly, this year it coincides with BLP launching its Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which details our commitment to reconciliation.
As a values-led business, we want to play an active role in promoting a more equitable and inclusive society. The launch of our Reflect RAP highlights our dedication to integrating First Nations perspectives into our design processes and projects. This approach not only enriches the projects we work on but also ensures that our work is culturally sensitive and respectful. Our RAP also aims to create meaningful relationships, enhance respect, and promote opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
With our RAP, we want to prioritise reconciliation for BLP, set ourselves goals, a deadline to deliver, be accountable and do better. We hope that our RAP will demonstrate to all within BLP and our broader community our level of commitment, and act as a beacon to engage, guide and inspire our people. We look forward to deepening our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories, knowledge, and leadership across all sectors of Australian society.
