The new areas provide flexibility for staff to educate and students to learn in a positive bright motivated environment, a vast improvement to the existing buildings.
BLP has recently completed the Speers Point Public School upgrade to accommodate the growing City of Lake Macquarie community. The rebuild upgrade includes the refurbishment of the existing library and classrooms into special education classrooms and amenities, as well as levelling the areas around these buildings for ease of access.
The project will provide new permanent innovative learning spaces for five classes, a new hall, administration building and library.
A refurbishment of the existing library and classrooms has provided special education classrooms and easily accessible amenities and was completed in early 2019.

Both staff & students had been able to move into the updated learning spaces whilst the last phase of construction commenced without any disruption to scheduled classes.
In the recently completed final stage of refurbishing two existing classrooms into 2 modern functional learning spaces has seen more positive impact to the school’s community. As well as a fresh new entry and new administration facilities has created a new formal identity for the school that they didn’t have previously.
