University of Melbourne Werribee Campus Redevelopment has officially been awarded a 6 Star Green Star rating from Green Building Council of Australia, representing World Leadership in building design and construction.

The Learning and Teaching Building (LTB) has been awarded 6 Stars under Green Star Design & As-Built v1 2020 by the GBCA. The building forms part of the redevelopment of the university of Melbourne Werribee Campus, encompassing laboratories, training centre and teaching spaces.

“This fantastic achievement was the result of a high degree of innovation and integration throughout the design process with the entire design team, ESD specialists and the builder.

To create a world class facility for our future vets, whilst reducing ongoing operation costs and looking after the environment helped define our brief with University of Melbourne. We are so proud of the sustainability outcomes for this facility, which will benefit the Werribee campus and the wider community for generations to come.”
