2017 saw BLP realise a number of major achievements. Thank you to all of our clients, consultants and team members for your continued commitment and passion for our business.
We expanded our senior leadership team, consolidating a period of substantial growth as a result of several significant wins and continued work on major developments.
Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre won a 2017 AIA NSW Architecture Award for Public Architecture – the only health project to be awarded in the NSW program, and testament to our commitment to excellence in architectural design.
We grew our service offering to incorporate Interior Design, and now provide the experienced resources of a combined team and a comprehensive service to all of our clients.
Building on these accomplishments, we look forward to a promising year ahead.
Growing our Team
With BLP’s engagement on several new and significant projects across Australia, our talented team has been steadily expanding; our Sydney office in particular has experienced substantial development.
Both Melbourne and Sydney are set to continue their growth, laying the foundations for a strong future ahead.
Consolidating our Sectors
We continue to expand our footprint across multiple sectors, with recent progress in Education including the state significant redevelopment of Picton High School, four schools in Central Coast NSW, and a major redevelopment for the University of Sydney; Science+Technology involving major work with CSL on their Broadmeadows site; current Workplace projects with Fujitsu; and continued strength in Health, including work on Footscray Hospital, Goulburn Valley Health Redevelopment, St Vincent’s Private Hospital Fitzroy, Wagga Wagga Rural Referral Hospital and the recently awarded Campbelltown Hospital Redevelopment.
Construction to Completion
One of things that makes our work so rewarding is implementing our designs and delivering buildings that our clients, the users and their community can be proud of.
Over 15 of our projects are currently under construction which are due to be completed in 2018, and include:
- BlueCross/Sapphire Care Box Hill Residence
- Bulli Aged Care Centre of Excellence
- University of Melbourne Werribee U-Vet Hospital
- John Fawkner Private Hospital
- The Alfred Hospital Emergency & Trauma Centre
- Family Safety Victoria Support and Safety Hubs
- Stokes and Penola Social Housing Redevelopment
