Philippa Sharp joins BLP to strengthen Workplace offering

Architecture, interior design and urban design practice BLP welcomes Philippa Sharp as Workplace Sector Leader in Victoria.

Philippa, based out of the practice’s Melbourne studio, joins Associate Director Vicki Murphie, BLP’s Workplace Sector Leader based in Sydney, in leading BLP Workplace environments practice-wide.

Philippa is known for her strong portfolio in designing workplaces, and says she is looking forward to building on the diverse talents of the team. “I’m excited to be joining BLP. I was impressed by the quality of BLP’s work, and the sensitivity of their workplace integration into other building typologies.

I look forward to working closely with the interiors and architectural teams to promote collaboration and innovation in our projects, and to keep growing a great body of work.

A versatile and creative interior designer with specialist expertise within the workplace sector for government, judicial, financial and corporate clients, her workplace expertise is augmented by experience designing across a number of sectors including education, public space and retail, as well as projects completed in Australia and internationally.

Recent projects of Philippa’s include the Magistrates Courts Victoria Expansion Project, the UniSuper Contact Centre and head offices for Yarra Trams and SPC.

BLP has recently completed workplaces for Fujitsu in Auckland and Melbourne as part of their Australasian rollout, a new Academic Workplace Pilot revitalisation for one of Australia’s leading universities, and the practice’s own studio relocations in Melbourne and Sydney.
